One of the key focus points of Rapid is the “header image”. In this space, you can upload a visually striking photo to engage your audience and help to set the tone for your campaign.
Upload your header image under 'Site settings > Background image' within the NationBuilder Control Panel.
We recommend that your header image be about 1280 x 440 pixels and less than 250kb in file size (preferably nearer 100kb).
Your header image will be overlaid with each page’s headline and an optional header link on both desktop and mobile and also with action forms on desktop on supported pages.
Header image vs background image
We use 'Site settings > Background image' as the header image because it allows for a higher resolution than 'Site settings > Header image'.
We also recommend not using a background image on the body of your website because it is likely to make text harder to read.
However, if you would like to revert back to using 'Site settings > Header image' for the header and 'Site settings > Background image' for the body, you may do so by applying the tag 'full_background_image' to your website’s Home page.
